Powered or Motorised Paragliding

Powered paragliding (PPG), Motorised paragliding or Paramotoring as it is called in different places, is a revolution in the world of aviation. This amazingly simply and safe way of flying is taking the world by storm! Tandem flights on a PPG mean we can takeoff and fly nearly anytime and from anywhere. We launch from a flat, open field and land softly, making this an exceptionally dynamic and versatile form of paragliding. The bonus of PPG is the fact that we can be sure we will spend 20 to 30mins in the air on a standard flight and 50 mins to 1 hr on a cross country flight. Costs are similar to free-flying tandem flights at R1000 for a standard flight and R1450 for a cross-country flight. Where free-flying is restricted by the wind and thermals and our flying time can be as short as 10mins in the air, with PPG, we can “power” ourselves skywards! We mostly launch right in Cape town, at the Lighthouse, 35 Beach Road, Moullie Point, next to the Greenpoint stadium and at Dolphin beach in Blouberg/ Tableview., but have an array of other launching fields, both in the Winelands and on many of the Cape’s beaches! It offers an incredible flying experience with optional aerobatics for the brave! No experience is necessary and only a few steps are all that’s required on your part.
