Belgian born, Fun-loving, carefree and confident. Stef only wants to do things the right way! Safe, efficient and entertaining. His humour is contagious and clown-like (Maybe a trait from the past). 11 000+ flights since starting in 1997. 8 Years of university taught him not to take life too seriously. Owner and Founder of Parapax

 

 

 

Jaques du Plessis

“Cappy” or “The Captain”. A true South African with huge personality. Full-time pilot with Parapax and an amazing man that makes anyone feel assured (even the most nervous passengers). A brilliant pilot, Started flying in 2001 and number 2 tandem pilot in SA. Has well over 2500 Tandem flights.

 

 

Frikkie van Rheede

Started flying paragliders in Bulwer, Natal in 1996. Loves Free-flying. A man passionate about sharing the joy of free flight. Sensitive, strong and loves fun people. Dislikes monotony and serious people. The most likable guy that was ever born on planet earth!

 

 

 

Herman Venter

A super-cool pilot, and an asset to our company. He says ” I have loved flying for as long as I can remember. It eventually led to Paragliding 15 years ago and I even love it more today. Tandem flying is a fantastic experience because you can share the first flight with someone.”

 

 


Dirk or “Pellie”

First flight 23 years ago and 17000 paragliding flights! Worked as a test pilot and been instructing beginners, advanced and aerobatic pilots for many years. A pioneer of Acro paragliding in SA and performed many displays at airshows and events. Still loves every second spent in the air. Also pilots the bright orange planes of Mango Airlines. Full of jokes and humour he is sure to light up your flight!
